The Chemung County Department of Aging and Long Term
Care will be hosting the Alzheimer's Association's 2009
Memory Walk on September 12 th at Eldridge Park
in Elmira. The event registration is at 9:00 a.m. with the 2.5 mile
walk beginning at 10:00 a.m. The Department is currently looking for
people who are willing to walk by joining or starting a team. The event
will have something for all ages, including free Carousal rides, Jangle
the Clown and face painting. The money raised will continue to help
fund vital programs and services that assist families in our region.
